Reality TV Shows are on at any time of the day, you are almost certain to find a realty show or reality show casting on a channel somewhere at any time. They enthral us with the different types of characters and personalities and we sometimes even parallel them with our own lives. The story and relationships unfold before our very eyes. What is it about reality TV and the casting of these shows that keeps us coming back for more year in and out.

We seem to enjoy the darker side of our personalities and watching in being played out on the small screen, like when people are bullying each other or calling each other names a backstabbing each all trying ton take home the coveted prize. There is a certain voyeuristic pleasure that we love, all within the safety of our couch with a bowl of crisps in hand.

Ordinary people from small towns get to participate and compete against contestants from across the country; the show is a huge platform to showcase their talents. People are, and always will be, obsessed with fame and fortune. The reality show contestants have their mini-celebrity status for the duration of the show and for a short while after. Some even manage to grab a couple of new shows banking on the popularity or notoriety that the reality show had generated for them.
